I had today time to play the demo and there are things i like about it and some that are maybe not that appealing for me. But in a nutshell, i like the demo. Music was fantastic, as expected from a game that Keiichi Okabe. But this game has the same music producer as Nier, but the director was right. The game isn't like Nier in my opinion. The battle system on normal is quite challanging, i died quite a few time and you need to be very focus because everything is build arround perfect parry and perfect dodging. As well as understanding the attack pattern of the enemies. It reminds me more on a souls like game than a hack n slash like Nier Automata, just without the stamina bar. In the early game i had the feeling that blocking was the way to go, but the boss challange and the need of using blink in the demo boss showed us doding is quite important as well, but in my opinion harder to execute, because if you don't do it perfectly you get punished while blocking lowers the dmg. In the end it's a battle system you first need to get used to and second you need to learn enemy attack pattern, then everything should be doable. What i don't really like in general in game is climbing arround to much, but for secrets you find, you need to do that in Stellar Blade, nothing to bad for me, but that doesn't make the game better in my opinion. And we can't say much about the story so far, but the presentation is rather ehh, has not a big impact so far. But it's way to early to judge that anyways.
