Cheesecake. When I wake up in the night (frequent insomnia due to a diagnosed condition), heavy food helps me get back to sleep.

Yesterday was a burger and fries as a decadent treat for dinner. I / we rarely eat so terribly, but it's a delight when we do. My better half usually cooks, but her being tired made it an opportune time to suggest fast food.

bread, butter and fresh peas makes a great summer snack

cucumber slice with honey is great

bread, butter, cheese and sliced apples is good sometimes

black olives with vanilla ice cream is a good sweet and salty dessert.
