Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

May be poor translation, but when using a free app for a free service, you probably should not "expect" anything. You can submit a feature request, but unless you are ready to contribute to the code, expect exactly what you already have.

And translate feature for titles and comments.

this one is probably gonna have to use a translation service that isn't free and would ask for subscription / ongoing cost.

I'm able to hide posts I've read in Jerboa. On the main home feed screen, go to the menu in the upper left corner, then open Settings > [Account Name] Settings. Uncheck the box next to "Show read posts," save your changes, and then refresh your home feed (or close the app and reopen). From what I can tell, this only works for posts you've actually opened; it won't hide posts that you've simply scrolled past.
