Immediately when i saw that you are building everything out of wood i knew where this was going to end up
Wowww my builder/animal guy has had muscle parasites for a year, just after I finally got him a prosthetic leg! My best colonist wasting so much time trying to keep the animals from going wild.
Lol progressrenderer videos are so funny, so much gradual expansion and then complete destruction in two frames.

This is why I zone roof building out from my exterior walls. Kills everything underneath and prevents fire from getting to my walls. Also collapses on invaders if they try to blow up a chunk of the wall.
Great idea! I normally end up laying down some concrete hadn't thought about just roofing to kill the veg, thanks!
Saves the cost of steel in the concrete too, which may be better spent in the early game.
