Free Video Game Giveaways

21 users here now

This is a place to post limited-time giveaways of full video games that are then yours to keep forever at no cost (i.e. this is not for steam sales, free-to-play games, free weekends, competition giveaways, or free in-game items!)

Please don't repost stuff that's already been posted or stuff that breaks feddit.uk rules (i.e. don't be a dick!)

[Robot Cache] Wasteland 3 (store.robotcache.com)
submitted 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Post-apocalyptic RPG for Windows, free for two weeks on Robot Cache. I've never heard of Robot Cache before, looks like it might be a blockchain gimmick but hey, they're giving away a free game. Careful what details you give them if you don't think they're trustworthy.

Edit: apparently I'm a complete amateur and forgot to put the actual link in.

Ah! Unfortunatly I just bought this one a couple weeks ago.

Bad luck, I guess you could refund it and grab the freebie depending on where you bought it and how much you've played (and if you can be bothered!)

Think I played it too much for a steam refund. Who knows if this launcher plays well with Linux anyway.

Good point, I play most things on the Steam Deck now, and while Heroic, Lutris and the like can handle the more well-known launchers I'm not sure this new boy will be supported yet!

Yeah wasteland 3 is pretty good on the deck

Signed up with a temp email, but you have to use their client which is a non-starter for me.

I'd say beggars can't be choosers, but the number of free games I've already posted in the last two days really indicates that we can be choosers!
