I recently got the Classic 40 and I'm in love with it. It's so clean and stunning. I do wish it had the old logo though.

The Ikarus is 9 years old this year and was my first Stowa purchase, it's a bit of a special version as well, it has the old logo, onion crown (special request from me before they started doing it as standard) and TOP movement oh and also my engagement watch!

The build quality of both is superb and I'm really happy to add another Stowa to my collection.

Stowa was my first mechanical watch as well, my Stowa Marine is still my go to dress watch.

They were my first mech as well. From there my brother got the marine and dad got a special edition watch which I can't recall. We're now a Stowa family!

One day I'll be able to afford a bronze flieger 40. For now I have a Tissel flieger that I've been incredibly happy with. If anyone is looking for a cheaper substitute I highly recommend Tissel.

I’m about to sell mine if you are actually looking ;)

I weighed up getting the bronze version and price edged me out. It's on my list though! About an hour after this arrived they announced the blue flieger which looked interesting.
