The day it was discovered I saw reports about it on all major media.

Some cocaine was found in a guest screening area, was tested and confirmed to be cocaine, the source is unknown. It seems like if you were gonna find cocaine somewhere, the security screening area would be one place you might expect someone to ditch drugs.

What is there to downplay?

We're supposed to say "SEE! It's not just Hunter! Biden is a cocaine addict! They're all corrupt drug addicts except Holy Republican Lord God Emperor Trump!" Even though it more than likely has absolutely nothing to do with Biden.
