All I'm saying is we win five nil right after I buy my first ever jersey, but I can't afford to buy one every game. Either we crowd fund this shit, or I have to choose very fucking carefully. Or I can try buying a Burnley and a Bournemouth shirt to fuck over the other two teams...

I don't remember where, but I saw an article recently talking about how Ivan Toney was returning from suspension and Arsenal were on "high alert".
Sounded to me like they were just using our lack of goals lately for views.
But, I wanted to see what people thought about Ivan Toney. Say Brentford let him go for a decent fee, would he be good enough? Would he fit our style of play?
Honestly he seems like an egotistical dick from what I've seen of his public image, not a fan.
Honestly excellent out and out striker that would fill a squad gap well but it's probably 2x too expensive and I wouldn't want to put that much money into a player who could be a problem gambler and might just do it again.
If we're going to go for a goal scorer from the prem I think id prefer it to be Ollie Watkins, but at this stage I'm more interested in seeing how guirassy goes for the rest of this season if his release clause is real.
Really wonder whether the problem is our lads or if it's Wilshere.
Dunno if the news came up here already but Bournemouth are buying a team in Australia/New Zealand's pro league, in Auckland. I think they're going to be in the team from next season. Pretty exciting stuff.
The dude who bought Salernitana to save them from shitting the bed is buying the Newcastle Jets too.
I'm excited, because the A-league has a huge image problem and has struggled to generate interest, but governance of the league has recently been handed from the FA to the clubs. Seeing bigger fish putting money into it has me thinking that maybe change is happening and it might be taken more seriously.
