Good for them.
I bought a copy, but mostly because I wanted to support a couple of indie developers with a good idea.

It's so disappointing what Battlefield has become
In a lot of ways it’s more similar to Squad, to be honest.
I was on the verge of buying Ravenfield (a blocky battlefield-like, but only solo with bots) just to scratch that itch. I'll probably go with Battlebit instead, it looks like dumb messy fun.
Bought it last night and played it for a few hours. Had a lot of fun. Only tried the 127 vs. 127 mode. It is a cluster fuck at times but a lot of fun. For some games I was the squad leader and there was a surprisingly good cooperation between the squad leaders (they have their own VOIP channel). This made for extra fun when three or four whole squads worked together to retake a point.
Will definitely be playing more.
I just finished up a few rounds. This game is fantastic. They have captured that old school Battlefield 1942 feel (but of course in modern times).
Yeah they smashed it. How a small Dev team has made the best battlefield game of the decade is kind of staggering
this.
