I love this, lets hope the other leagues do the same.

Definitely would like it in the Premier League!

Another thing I'd like to see is an end of players surrounding referees. Should only be captains, refs get too much abuse and it trickles down to grassroots football, then we wonder why there is a lack of quality when the pool to select referees is small/close knit.

Good, but I'm skeptical about this:

It seems that it will not be an automatic access to all the recordings, but rather hand-picked incidents that caused the most controversy during that weekend’s games.

It says that can change in the future, but if it doesn't then it could be lip service.

In the eredivisie they had it for a little while I believe, but they would do only one or two per weekend. Sometimes they picked situations that were not that interesting just to avoid showing an obvious mistake by the ref elsewhere that they didn't want to air.

Let's hope I'm wrong!

This definitely needs to be done. It works great with the TMO in rugby where you hear the ref's thought process as they come to a decision.

The big difference then is that in Rugby the whole referee team is involved in TMO, whereas in football, the linesmen and assistant are excluded. It would be much better to bring them into the discussion so that they come to a consensus decision. They're much less likely to be spectacularly wrong like that (as the ref was in Juventus - Salernitana where Bonucci was called offside despite being over 1m onside).

They should also broadcast the conversation in the Stadiums (as they do in rugby international matches - on reusable earpieces you can buy for €10), and show the replays on the big screen so fans can see what the fuck is going on!
