Because you have a permit does not mean you cannot get depressed... I'll never understand the muricans and their need to shoot anything in sight.

About shoot anything in sight, there is a couple of things. Police response time in the USA is slow and in some places it is not practical to make it better. I also think how individual the USA is some people feel better with their own defense in their own hands. But the USA does need to do better on health care including mental health.

Only russia and Costa Rica have a Higher Police Budget than the USA... Just think about it, you pay more for less, so you shoot each other up...

Is that per capita, land, gdp, or just total.

I looked it up, it is by GDP, which makes sense the US is big. But we do still have a policing problem.
