Btw, the slant window isn't that convenient; air barely replaces this way.
It takes longer but it works perfectly fine for having fresh air constantly without having the window completely open. Mine is currently opened like that and I can feel the fresh winter air ๐ฅฐ
Where did i read this... i think it is about impact ventilation vs. always a bit open, the later wasting way more heating energy. At least, downward or sideways slant would be more effective (cold air is heavier).
Downwards it has 2 big flaws. More complex because gravity and you would knock stuff of your window sill.
