I, like many of us, are still try to figure out everything about this new platform. Are new users welcome? Are we crashing this niche party? And is all the acclimation annoying? What are "instances"? Are there corresponding communities to reddit? I initially got into reddit as a form of therapy. You could post casually to get things off your chest, discuss random topics about everything, quip, and browse interesting stories. Hoping to find the same here, maybe in a better form, once it's understood.

How do you think redundancies will work out? Theres already several communities for the same concept. Are we going to have to get used to subscribing to multiple ones?

Redundancy I view as a huge issue. It sucks the communities are so fragmented
