I really hope this becomes the defacto forum for this community. I've been dabbling in the Lemmyverse and it seems like the most appropriate solution at this time. Not only am I suspicious of Twitter/X, but it is a terrible design for forum-like interaction - in that regard Reddit's format really is ideal, and that's what Lemmy has emulated.

I'm working with ppseeds to set up a dedicated Lemmy server that isn't dependent on any external arbiter.

It’s a good question - we are on the Lemmy.world aggregated server currently, but I’m working on setting up a server we own to host the instance.

Anyone want to help?
