This is good news! While all the tech companies in the west are laying off, they chose to retain their employees by increasing their wages. Good on them 👏

I think I read that the Japanese government was going to force companies to raise salaries this year. A bunch of companies announced their raises earlier this year, the fact that Atlus is doing it so late into the year seems kind of shitty.

It’s still better than nothing. Look at Microsoft, announcing layoffs and 1 week later pledges about 1 billion into AI development. That’s shitty
