I have succumbed to the dark side and installed Tiktok para sa Tiktok shop.

Conclusion: Mukang magbabalik Shopee muna ako for the meantime until they fuck up again.
I personally never had a bad experience with Lazada couriers, they always send my orders on time or ahead of schedule. Lagi din silang tumatawag sakin kapag naka gate na sila. Baka magkaiba tayo ng experiences based sa locations natin, taga NCR ako.
Never went back to Shopee after learning about their parent company's poor management (mass layoffs, hiring of Toni Gonzaga as an endorser the day after reporting said layoffs, dying state of Garena). Never attempted to install TikTok due to their numerous privacy concerns. Tread carefully ka na lang.
So far 4 times this year pa lang naman nangyari saken to, pero nakakatrigger lang kasi 2 beses sila nagsinungaling sa iisang order.
Recent transplant lang ako sa Lazada after years of using Shopee (lumipat dahil sa courier drama this year, which coincided with the layoff and Toni drama), frankly, LEX ang primary na dahilan bakit ako nasa Lazada: (1) ang cluttered ng UI (2) andameng irrelevant search results. If LEX is starting to suck, then balik na lang ako sa Shopee.
Sa Tiktok naman, I use MIUI, so my privacy is already kapoot. Lol. Though I did install it sa Second space para at least hindi ma-invade nag bongga mga apps ko.
But you can still lessen the tracking by replacing your DNS with Quad9 or NextDNS, and use a privacy-friendly web browser like ungoogled Chromium and Firefox. Based on my NextDNS analytics, Qualcomm aggressively collects anonymous device data, and I don't think that they will use it maliciously.
Currently, my device is Redmi Note 11 (MIUI EU ROM, tanggal crapwares, less ads). This will be my last Xiaomi device, and going to use this until it breaks and/or slows down the performance.
Will have to check yung DNS thing. May nakita ako before na i-add somewhere sa settings pero would like to understand sana on what it entails.

Same. Only bought this kasi eto lang yung compact-ish with good specs when my old Z8 suddenly died. Sana may super compact pa din Unihertz pa kapag nag-expire na security updates neto.
I bought my device last year, completely relapsed my "no smartphone life" I started in 2021. I mainly use my device for banking, Viber, and casual web browsing when I'm outside. Its battery can last up to next day/night.
Okay sana Pixel 6A and 7A, may doubts ako when it comes to their bootloaders. Ang mahal naman ng Sony Xperia mid-rangers at Zenfones.
Go to Settings/Connection and Sharing/Private DNS. Search for suitable DNS resolvers.
