I can't pull myself away from GT3, the ferrari is such a fun car to drive. I might treat myself this season with the new porsche 992 maybe. Kinda been waiting on fanatec profiles from Maurice for it, seemingly though all the GT3 profiles are basically the same.
Im surprised with all the 'older'/less used tracks in the GT3 fanatec challenge/GT Sprint series. Along with one new track i'm missing 3 others. I normally only need to buy like 1 or 2 tracks a season, but due to the use of zolder, philip island and daytona (all of which are super rarely used in road) i'm now a bit stuck. Maybe i need to look at another series this season. But after driving GT3 its hard rolling back to GT4. Maybe LMP3 is the go? again... i'd have to buy this lol
F4, F3, Advanced MX5, and FVee and F1600 for more casual. Also need to finally learn Nurburgring so trying to do one ringmeister race a week even if I have the driving line on.
Hmm I started out with open wheels cause my mates liked them… I find them tooo unwieldy or something. Unpredictable. Mazda , vee and Ray are all too slow for me. I enjoy the feel of a real car in my hand or something. I have learnt industrafarten (spelling?) and can pull clean laps over and over. Maybe that’s the go for me! I have the Porsche for this week too. Not a bad idea.
I don't always agree with Dave Cam, but I do agree that his maxim "The slower the car, the better the racing." If you have a C class or better, try out the Advanced MX5. It's fantastic racing even if it feels slow.
