Are we checking? This is a place to take a p*ss out of motorsports.
F1 is not the only motorsport in the world, so go ahead and post your shitposts about WEC or MotoGP or IndyCar or ralley or Polish Speedway or whatever. Even Formula E, I guess. It needs some love, too.
By the way, F2 > F1.
Rules? What rules? Stop inventing. Just don't be a douche. Lemmy.world's sporting conduct applies.

Yeah not like the team completely botched his race with a terrible strategy. He was 3 secs behind Tsunoda before the first round of pitstops started.
E: and the reason he dropped back, we now know, was a brake duct failure.
With the exception of Qatar, rookie Lawson had always finished ahead of Tsunoda, though. I think expecting more from a multiple F1 race winner is not unfair.
Guy broke his hand and is just back in a car he hasn't driven ever before, with one hour of practice, while Tsunoda has, what, 3 weekends' worth of experience (talking about the updated AT)? He fucked up his qualy with track limits, no argument there, but that's all he did wrong this weekend.
To spell it out more clearly: Lawson finished ahead of Tsunoda in Zandvoort as a complete rookie who never even raced in an F1 GP before. Then Laswon went ahead and finished ahead of Tsunoda every single time, except Qatar. Ricciardo should be better than a rookie who finished ahead of Tsunoda and not finish behind the team mate.
Btw, Stroll also broke his hands and that was his best performance the entire season.
And there you go, early brake duct failure caused severe downforce loss and instability on Ricciardo's car, said Tost.
That wasn't communicated when I made the post and even if it were: this community is for dumb jokes anyway, not objective reporting.
