As a Briton, the immediate parallels that spring to mind are the Russian state's murder of Alexander Litvinenko in London and attempted murders of the Skripals in Salisbury. This is rogue state behaviour and I'm still flabbergasted that the Modi regime thought they could get away with these sorts of acts unnoticed and unchallenged.
it strikes me as cunning because canada's allies have already ignored canada's pleas to side w them (per another article) out of fear of alienating india further after india ignored demands when it comes to both russia and china.
like khashoggi and very MANY others, nijjar is the price paid for maintaining this hegemony.
