Accidental touch with always on display (self.samsung)

Has anyone here experienced issues with accidental touch not working while the phone is in a pocket. The settings I think are causing this are double tap to wake set to on and having the always on display set to always display. Those settings and putting the phone in my pocket screen facing my leg causes the screen to wake inside of my pocket and jump around to different time stamps in the music or podcast I am listening to, sometimes pausing.

What phone do you have? Any recent phone I’ve had should have an accidental touch setting you can enable, it bases off of the light level going into the camera I believe.

If the phone is in your pocket or the room is dark you need to swipe a lock icon to unlock the screen.

Accidental touch protection is enabled. I have turned it off and on to see if that helps but it does not. Screen still activated inside of my pocket which is dark. Thanks for the suggestion though
