I showed my kid this ancient video when they got into battle tech. It might look and sound like crap now, but I was so vindicated when they made me play it three more times.

Aah. This was the point where I realized the joy of stompy metal feet.

I love, all of this. Immediately this brought me back to the beginning. I've probably watched this intro hundreds of time.

Ditto. Do you know a good game these days to get that old mech sim feeling? There are lots of mech games now, but the few I've tried are just normal shooters with clanking sounds.

Look for Mech Merc Company on steam. It keeps the spirit of the old MW games but sadly no battletech IP
