Mods you didn't know you needed till you tried them. Here are some perhaps lesser known UI focused mods that are now must haves:

Pause After Load Unscripted - After loading a game or fast traveling, the screen just pauses until you click something. This is great when loading takes a while and you are looking away/doing something else. No ESP or scripts. SE/AE. Install/test/uninstall whenever.

Media Keys Fix SKSE - Finally a mod that lets you change volume inside the game without the problems of earlier attempts at this! No ESP. SE/AE. Install/test/uninstall whenever.

MainMenu Music Replacer - Wolf Princess (Adrian von Ziegler) (4K) - Celtic Theme - If you are new to the game, don't use this yet. But if you have heard the Skyrim intro many times, this is a breath of fresh air! Beautiful! Replaces the intro song and gives you a nice loading screen. No ESP. SE/AE. Install/test/uninstall whenever.

Now you, OG members! What do you think? What is your favorite lost UI mod? Let us know!

My go-to is always Stay at the System Page, which lands you right at the System menu when hitting Esc. There are multiple files out there for AE, NG, etc so be sure and pick your correct flavor.

Hey @[email protected]

Yes, that is a good one! As you say, there are a few versions out there. I am using Stay At The System Page NG, which should work on most versions of Skyrim. And it is compatible with the DD mod mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

Good to know, thanks. I chose the AE version for my recent LO rebuild because I know it works with my x.353. One less unknown to worry about!
