Internet safety reminder:
On posts like these, I encourage everyone to at least randomize the real values by a couple percent, round the values, or be vague on details. On occasion, even completely fabricate the values. The reason for that is to avoid doxxing through statistical analysis.
Btw, clear skies where I'm at. Very cool weather for a dive in the river.
Honestly, I've never really took to much caution about admitting where I'm at. I carry my phone on me at all times, and it's pretty much just a tracking device. Like, I'm not spewing it at every second of the day, but saying what city I'm in is very inconsequential when my phone records my exact location down to the building
Will the feds be able to track you with your phone effortlessly? Absolutely! However, this will likely not be the case if it's a random chud looking for a based person to attack. In that case, seeing you mention your city on social media is going to be a lot more useful to the fash stalker, since it's not like they have access to the logs of your ISP or the servers of websites you visit.
Your logic is wrong. If I understand you correctly, you are saying:
To this I would ask, from whom? Sure, companies and government may already have access to it in some way, we can't rule that out. But what about TankieStalker42069? Does he know the GPS coordinates? I would bet he would be very happy if you shared your location on a post, and then another post confirming it.
