My first run I'm doing a melee focused build, challenger/engineer. Overall melee feels a lot more viable this time around. Also, the melee for the handheld minigun actually does a ton of damage

I started playing yesterday, so I'm not really far into the game. But I chose Handler first (which saved my ass so many times), and just found my second archetype - the summoner. If everything goes well (and by that I mean farming blood moon essences) I'll try to do a pet build and see how that fares :)

This is my plan. I currently have Handler/Hunter. The dog is so damn good. We just had a boss fight where the dog saved us. We didn't know the dog will revive a teammate if the Handler is down.

Haha, I didn't read the text too in the beginning and was baffled when my doggo revived me on solo play.
