Here's what you need to know- consortium news in 2016, the website was listed by PropOrNot as a "Russian propaganda outlet," a claim Consortium News strongly disputes, arguing it challenges mainstream narratives and exposes bias in media.
Article really is totally bias towards Russia and leaves out many well documented facts or any facts that would take away from the Russian narrative that Russian is the victim.
Interesting to read for the sole fact it gives you insight into what the Russian propaganda machine is pumping out.
Fact checking sites aren't reliable. Consortium News is run and was founded by world-class investigative journalists who won Pulitzer's. So I'll take them over a “fact checking” site. You must think people are stupid.
I'm not sure how anyone would read that article knowing anything about Ukraine and not immediately realize this article is biased and misleading. It is certainly bending the truth. I think only a stupid person would try and defend it.
P.S. I've personally been to Ukraine and also know people who are currently there. So I'll take my first person account over you or you're purposely misleading article.
I bet you have! /s What part of Ukraine did you visit, East or West? And from which part of Ukraine did the person(s) you talked to come from? Context is everything. Also, you may want to brush up on some unchallengeable history—An actual timeline of events, if you wish to honestly enlighten yourself. https://consortiumnews.com/2025/02/25/ukraine-timeline-tells-the-tale
