Let's get things started! 1990 Golf, CE1. It's mainly OEM+ right now, but I have a 1.8t (AWW) with an 02j that will go in it eventually. We've had it for 6 years and it's been a great car!

Scirocco's always handled well . Almost scary sometimes. A good friend had a real nice g60 swap back in the 90's and he would eat us all up on the backroads. I could see a 12v keeping that thing planted.

I just preferred the 8v's in the mk2's , always felt screwy digging into a turn with the VR . It was a blast in a straight line

I've got a new set of koni yellow front shocks for a scirocco that need a good home but I haven't seen one on the road anywhere in my area for a long time. It's a shame because they are iconic cars!

Yeah, they are basically go karts with a full interior and glass haha. A G60 swap would be so much fun! I may be interested in those Koni Yellows if shipping costs aren't too crazy. I was working with a pretty tight budget, so it has Koni oranges and H&R street springs on it now

It's just the fronts . They have never been on a car . I would send them your way for cost of shipping and say $30 for my time . I'm pretty sure I have some boxes from other shocks and buble wrap to ship. I can snap some pics later if you want and find out shipping cost sometime this week or whenever you would be interested I've had them sitting around for many years and am in no rush. I'd just like someone to use them .

I'm running koni orange on my tdi now and they're solid but adjustable dampening on board is a nice option. Be real nice with H&R springs 🤌

Okay yeah that sounds great! Shipping is to zip 98059. I'll message you with my address after you've got an estimate

I didn't forget about you brother . I will make it to the fed ex store this week to get a price on shipping ....work was crazy this week and I never made it to that side of town . I got them packaged and ready . I'll be in touch soon . Hope you had a good weekend ✌️

No worries and no rush! Fedex should have an online estimator where you feed it the dimensions of the box, how much it weighs and the zip its going to and it should give you a cost. Might be worth looking into

I'm a cave man, your strange ways scare and confuse me ...I only own a computer to rip Grateful Dead CD's so I can put them on my Zune. I actually baught a second to run VCDS and needed help with that. Reddit and now Lemmy are the only social media I've ever been involved with.

I will have to stop in the FedEx store, it's the only way that makes sense to my cro-mag brain 😅

Haha no worries. You just reminded me I still have my Zune tucked away in storage. I should dig it out and get it running again The great thing about VCDS is the MASSIVE community and a wealth of knowledge available on the ross-tech forum, so you should be able to get the hang of it without too much trouble!
