When you had something to sell in person off the GE was the crucible of learning to type.
Lol, I've played RuneScape since before the GE was added, lemme tell you, West Varrock bank in the Pre-GE days was unreal
All manner of text effects just flying everywhere, I lost out on many a good deal because I missed the message in the sea of messages lol
