My fiddle leaf grows quickly. There are often new leaves and it has more than doubled in size so I'm definitely not killing it. But I've had this issue since I got the plant.

About 2/3 of new leaves are red and spotty. They continue growing and the spots eventually fade. Too much water? Not enough? Time to repot?

I think it’s because of overwatering. Maybe wait a couple more days before you water compared to your regular schedule. Hope it helps

Could the size of the pot affect this? I can get a full size pic when I'm home but I haven't changed the pot since I got the plant

Yeah! Take a look at the root structure and see how it goes.
