Actually, yes. I'm very sure that it was a false ban, but as Reddit makes sure you can't find out, as the comment is, of course, deleted, and their appeal form was down, and because lemmy was pretty good, I just switched fully.
Does an appeal actually work or do anything? Iβve tried but itβs never been replied to
I doubt that it works on any service. I guess it's always just placebo, so you don't have your regular support email spammed or negative 'articles' written about you.
