Isn't this old news? I think he talked about this years ago after quitting The Witcher.

This article just adds,

The project recently gained momentum with the assembly of a mini-room, where writers collaborated to outline a creative direction for the series.

This teamwork has now paved the way for the TV series to proceed into development, though a showrunner has yet to be confirmed as negotiations continue.

So I guess progress has been made... But not much.
