Holy shit the ads on that horrible website!
Anyways, idk what the article actually says because it's too busy trying to load more ads to show me the actual text. There were a lot of people without power for several days, so idk what this battery supposedly protected.
Firefox on Android + uBlock seems to clean out the ads.
As for the battery: “It worked as designed in the conditions were experiencing at the time, and we had pretty extreme conditions. Twenty-eight power sags that hit the plant over 12 hours,” said Bauer.
We are told the pumps kept pumping, and there were no failures at the plant thanks to a massive set of batteries always on standby.
“It can detect those power sags, and step in and provide clean power to the pumps and other systems,” said Bauer.
Yes, I use Firefox and uBlock, but it still shows where the ads tried to load, and they're everywhere, all over the page. Nothing else would load either though.
Kept what pumps pumping? The city water supply?
