How far north/south do you live that the sun is setting @ 2:50 pm?
60ish degrees north. although i used to live in Kiruna, which in about a week will enter polar night until the middle of january.
Brrrr. I'll stay as close to the equator as I can. San Diego is nice.
we have +30C summers and -30C winters. perfectly balanced. i visited relatives in Vancouver last summer and the 36 degree heat was basically unbearable.
I haven't seen a temperature lower than 4.5° C or above 27° C in almost a decade :)
