idk, I think he can still see and therefore be impacted by the rest of the board? like beehaw defederated lemmy.world, so they couldn’t see any .world posts anymore. lemmy.world could still see, comment, and vote on beehaw posts, but none of the beehaw users saw those votes or comments.
