Never have I ever heard "I'm proud of you" from my Dad :'(
I'm not your dad, but I'm proud of you. The absolute least I know about you is you don't mind admitting pain, so I'm proud of you. ๐ซ
Mine died when I was 12 so I'm not sure if he never said it, or I just don't rmemeber. I'm over 40 now.
Same, I was 13
He's proud of you. It's a dad thing, trust me.
Is that a thing dads say sometimes? Weird.
