Why, why, why, and why, again... Has there been an olympic host in recent history for whom the olympics haven't been a complete shitshow and done more harm than good? The metro alone becomes completely packed and insufferable whenever a big concert is in town, or some football match, or the DHL relay race. Imagine weeks of that. Then, add years of garbage construction for the olympic village and to house all the tourists. The entire island would grind to a halt and it would affect neighboring cities and even Sweden.

EDIT: I guess since it is the youth olympics, it might be less of a burden. I don't know... Let's see what the outcome is.
