Meatball Ron is like 0 & 12 in Federal courts. There should be a federal three strikes law on signing unconstitutional bills into law.
It's long been a cornerstone of my political daydreams that federal charges should be filed, as a matter of course, against any lawmakers who vote for legislation later ruled unConstitutional.

Should we also punish people for doing things that were not a crime when they did it but is now?
No. But in the case of signing clearly unvetted laws, they were enacting things that weren't constitutional before -- and continue to not be constitutional now.
It doesn't have to be a felony. Maybe misdemeanor misrepresentation.
