I just wish something could be done about the absolutely fucking eye-watering cost of housing here

Best we can do is randomly shut down parts of the T for the next 6 months.

I hear it does that pretty well on its own. (I live 30 miles west, but I have plenty of friends who live in Somerville and Medford.)
