In some songs the vocaloid singing breathes in and out, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to achieve something like this (i'm more interested in the outbreaths since the inbreaths come as wav files with the vb)

Crossposted from the solarpunk instance I call home. Er, I think. I don't know how to crosspost. My first (published) foray into vocaloid and especially Teto's synthv.

I would absolutely love to talk about making this so please ask.

Music and art by me. I finished off the video with lyrics and such in vizzy, which I highly recommend for any other tiny-time producers.

The title is a pun. “OREMO UTAU” means “I’ll also sing”, but is also the names of 2 programs relevant to vocal synths: Oremo, used to create voicebanks by recording your voice, and Utau, used to make vocals using voicebanks. That’s because the artist in question made their own voicebank called Karogado and used it in this song.

I've noticed that Len's english sounds a bit wonky, but I'm not sure if it's because I can't tune it properly or if it's just bad. Does engrish sound any better or should I stick to the english bank?

I'll start!

Vocaloid: Flower v4. I love her growls

SynthV: Kasane Teto. I may be very biased here, but I really like her original songs.

CeVIO: RIME. Her breathy voice is cool, and is used especially well in Utsu-P's collage.

Utau: Anna Nyui. A lot of options, and a pretty versatile voicebank I love to use.

I know the regulations on unofficial ones are trash but I'm going with my parents and they'll kill me if I try to bring them in

Other than weird camera angles, zooming into pixels and the garbage screen placement I think the setlist was alright. I think it'd fit an audience who doesn't know her and utsuP was a good pick too. Cheers to those in the audience who brought a lot of enthusiasm and a bit of lightstick action going. Not the best... or good way anyways, to show what she is about to those who never seen her. Something like that might be somehow forgiven by those who know what the average concert looks like but for newcomers is just not a great experience.
