In case you want to watch someone new discovering The Owl House for the first time, reactor Danny Motta started his watch-through reacting to Episode 1 the other day. Slightly misinformed on the production facts (hopefully he’ll correct that later), but the commentary was fun.

(Also CW this is not made for kids. Nothing graphic, but he does swear a fair bit. Nothing that should be surprising if you’ve spent any time at all online, but maybe think about who you’re watching this with. Mostly just saying this because this show is technically TV-Y7 and the video is very much not)

ok so i really wanted to make something for luz’s king-ceañera it just made me realize how much i got to grow up with this show bc it started when i was her age and the time skip in the last episode was less than 2 weeks before my birthday but m a n i made so much art and made so many friends just because of this show TvT

also massive thanks to my friend who suggested the picture in the background bc i went back to watch reaching out and remembered that thing about her dad bringing them flowers on their birthdays and i thought that would be a cool thing to add :D

Recently reposted by @hoot-toh.bsky.social on Bsky (birdged to Fedi at @[email protected]), and it felt pretty fitting here with Mae Whitman celebrating her birthday today and many of our instances also celebrating their first birthdays around now
