I've been killing a lot of time lately with this website.

This situation looks very much like the Texarkana event from Dec 2021, which was caused by birds, likely cormorants, disgorging their last meals as they fled the stormy weather.

The false campaign by environmental activists claimed that the toy giant was launching a new line of decomposable Barbies and would stop using plastic by 2030. Some news outlets, including People, The Washington Times and Dow Jones Newswires, fell for the fake campaign, publishing articles on the new dolls.

After an investigation, officials determined the packages did not contain explosives or other dangerous materials and seemed to be a science project.
