There are so many Pico-8 creators out there. It's amazing the quality of most of them. Pico-8 has carved out a niche in the gaming community by making it possible to create 'simple', but engaging fun games. In fact, there are individuals who have dedicated themselves to making Pico-8 games as a profession. Johan Peitz is such an individual. He has created several amazing Pico-8 games and tools, and even sells them on Steam!

Just discovering the amazing Pico-8 games and I noticed my Miyoo Mini with OnionOS has Pico8 emulation.

However, I imagine one would need cartridges for it and not binaries - but cartridges are rarely distributed on platforms like itch.io.

Can anyone tell me how the ecosystem is supposed to work?

Description: Dungeon of Numeromancy is a dungeon crawler with math-based combat. You battle your foes by answering mathematical quiz questions, where correct answers unleash powerful spells that damage the monsters. Answering incorrectly and the attack will fail, allowing the monster to strike.

But is there even such a thing as "fully automated"? With every completed robot, the factory's pace quickens, and your precision is put to the test. So I'm thinking this PICO-8 community could use a list of resources. I'm pretty sure I've seen an "awesome" list as well as a list of links on (ahem) another link aggregator site... If no one else compiles one, I may end up doing it.

I saw this community on trending and looked up what a PICO8 is and thought it was a pretty interesting concept. I’m curious what some of the best games on the platform are in your opinion.
