Do you guys have a favorite deluxe/hardback edition? I think the Girl from the Other Side's gold engravings take it for me (lemmy.world)

I'm really hoping to get at least to volume 5 of the Gunslinger Girl omnibuses, but the pricing is pretty steep for decent quality copies. I'm mostly crossing my fingers that whatever manga swaps/resale shops I go to will have luckier results.

Volume one of Ranma 1/2 was the first manga I ever read, and is one I still re-read consistently. I and my wallet are forever in Takahashi's debt. What about you? Is your first manga not the same as the one that got you into collecting?

Posting a collection update. Currently sitting at 358 tankobon, 13 light novels, and 5 manhwa. Oversized hardbacks and doujin not pictured; hopefully we'll be able to upload multiple pictures soon.
