The teacher loved guinea pigs and had them in her classroom. My kid fell in love with them and she let us take the guinea pigs home over winter break to care for them.
These were made with salt dough and acrylic paint.

Overhead image of hand holding a small guinea pig facing away from the camera. Its colorations are black and white in a checkerboard pattern. Imagine a line going the length of the body (there is no actual line). Along this line are alternating square sections of black and white about 2 inches in length. The square on each side of the imaginary line for the head make it so that the pig has one white ear and one black. The pattern is only two squares wide so there is only one white and one black square per row. The background is a paper covered office desk with an orange cup.
