The band are described as "glam-goth-industrial" which kind of hits all the sweet spots for me personally. But they deliver a kind of powerful pounding dystopia with enough theatrics and cool to be my favourite band at present.

If I'm still finding new and interesting music to nourish my old goth tastes. I'm content in the strobe lights...

Plus this is a live performance and it certainly doesn't lack power.

Honestly, I've always loved that you see people from different generations showing up to the club and doing their own things. Not Old Guy Coming To Hit On Women Half His Age--people coming to see their own friends, with their own stuff going on. Seems good for everybody.

I was explaining to my mom once about a monthly benefit night and a separate monthly craft bazaar and she started cracking up, saying it was like a church. My suspicion is that healthy community centers of any community develop similar appendages.

A friend has promised me (animal) bones, and I'm very excited. A number of them will have to go into storage for a while as I don't have the display space one would wish for - - but ever since visiting the Capuchin Crypt in Rome I've been enchanted by the aesthetic potential of the 3d forms (and 2d cross sections) of vertebrae.

And how do we call attention to aestheticize an object, if not with gold leaf?

One almost feels uncomfortable being so aware of the romantic purpose of all those who'd stayed in the room before you--I mean, not that that isn't many hotels, but I just don't see how you'd avoid thinking about it in these rooms. But oh the bathtubs...

I don't own this book, but I adore everything I've seen from it.
