I don't know what is the recommended option for this kind of stuff nowadays.

I heard about https://nostrascore.com/, but I never used it, so if you have any other suggestion, feel free!

Bayern Munich have agreed a three-year deal with Vincent Kompany to take over as head coach.

A fee of £10.2m will be paid to Burnley to bring the 38-year-old to the Allianz Arena, where he will succeed Thomas Tuchel in the top job. The Bundesliga club failed in their attempts to convince the German to stay after a run to the Champions League semi-finals and were forced to search elsewhere for a replacement.

Kompany, who began his managerial career at Anderlecht, earned a big reputation after joining Burnley two years ago. The former Manchester City defender took the Championship by storm, earning rave reviews after turning a defensive side into a thrilling attacking team, and led Burnley back into the Premier League at the first time of asking.

There were hopes that Burnley could succeed at the highest level by sticking to their progressive style of play but a failure to reinforce his squad led to a 19th-placed finish and relegation. Allowing Kompany to make a swift departure will give Burnley time to find the right replacement as they gear up for another promotion campaign.

There will be raised eyebrows at Kompany earning such a big job. Equally there is a feeling that the 38-year-old’s methods could work well with a side at the top level. Kompany has experience of living in Germany after representing Hamburg during his hugely successful playing career.

1 - This is now the first men’s #FACupFinal to see two different teenagers score, with Kobbie Mainoo (19y 36d) the youngest English goalscorer in the match since West Ham’s John Sissons in 1964 (18y 215d). Dreams.

This is top drawer banter and as a Gooner, I'll take this on the chin.

Great timing. Unless they're thinking they might get a new manager bounce without actually appointing a new manager?

For context, my knowledge of current football is almost non existent.

Yearly football doesn't appeal a lot to me, but what I like about the Euro or the World Cup is seeing a large number of countries represented, and the popular enthusiasm during the matches.

I have fond memories of watching matches on a giant screen or at a friend's house, and no matter what the outcome, it's generally a great time.

So two questions:

  • would you guys be interested in a !euro2024@instance community? It would be mainly for match feeds and sharing other news.
  • Would anyone be interested in a prediction contest? You don't have to know a thing about it, it's usually the people who know the least who win.

Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna is likely to reject any new deal amid interest from Chelsea and Brighton.

The 38-year-old is also believed to be under consideration by Manchester United if they decide to make a change with Erik ten Hag’s future in doubt.

McKenna – who is contracted to Ipswich until 2027 - is ambitious and is understood to be keen to take the next step in his career.

Talks with Ipswich are likely to take place this week and the Tractor Boys are expected to offer McKenna a new deal to convince him to stay at Portman Road.

BBC Sport understands that is expected to fail with the manager, and assistant Martyn Pert, feeling the time is right to move.

Chelsea are believed to be in pole position, despite Brighton’s interest, with United’s situation adding to the complexities as they are yet to confirm what will happen with Ten Hag.

Any club will need to pay at least £4m compensation to take McKenna and Pert.
