The Cincinnati Cyclones dropped the puck on their 2024/25 campaign Saturday night, and they have the chance for some early-season history.

Team captain Justin Vaive is in his 10th year in Cincinnati and is one goal shy of becoming the franchise's all-time leading goal scorer.

Fantastic news. I've looked at this thing for years and it being redone is a big link between Fountain Square and the Convention center. Having more retail to connect the square to the Dunnhumby building and beyond is a good thing.

I gotta be honest- I don't understand why anyone "drives into" the greenspace. For safety reasons alone that makes zero sense to me.

The height seems fine to me but then again, I don't live in HP.

But I bet he thinks we can afford that for a new arena huh?

The company would bring between 60 and 200 employees to its Cincinnati headquarters, Barrett said.

In addition, a new one will probably appear next year.

Greater Cincinnati will likely add still another Fortune 500 company next year when the list comes out in May or June. GE Aerospace, which became a standalone locally based company in April 2024, would have ranked No. 140 on the 2024 Fortune 500 with $31.8 billion in 2023 revenue had it been a standalone company as of the end of 2023. It will almost certainly show up on next year’s roster.
