Sometimes Cincinnati Biz Courier links are posted. These are mostly paywalled. IF you have a library card then you can view the articles by doing the following steps:

  • Visit the library magazine/newspaper section.
  • Click on Cincinnati Business Courier there and log in if needed.
  • For now, manually find the link that was posted here (I will try to figure out a way to auto format links or something so it takes you right to it at some point.)

Long an eyesore, this building at the SE corner of 4th and Race got tax credits. Sits next to the McAlpin condos (or close to).

I've walked past this so many times and it's always been empty. Would love to see some good use out of it.

Developer Shree Kulkarni’s current plan to build a new extended-stay hotel in Walnut Hills near the Interstate 71/Martin Luther King Jr. interchange is dead after the Cincinnati Planning Commission voted unanimously Friday, Dec. 6, to reject it.

The planning staff said the project did not align enough with Walnut Hills’ neighborhood plan because it was too auto-oriented, does not line up with the scale of the single-family homes near it and lacked community support.

Located at 13th and Walnut in OTR. It's the only Ohio restaurant on the list as well.

  • A new arena would cost between $675 million and $800 million.
  • Public funding may cover 70% of the costs.
  • Sites near the Duke Energy Convention Center are considered the most desirable

Oh yay, yet another thing for the taxpayers to fund...

Keystone Hotel Group is building a 109-key Home2 Suites by Hilton at the site of the historic former Chong building at 614 and 616 Race St.

Patel in April told Cincinnati City Council’s budget committee that his investment is a direct result of the city, county and 3CDC’s plans to overhaul the Duke Energy Convention Center, build a new headquarters hotel and develop a new district around them.
