Harrison Ford spills the beans on his tumultuous time filming the iconic Blade Runner with Ridley Scott and how the sequel, Blade Runner 2049, was "just slightly more civilized."

Yup. Blade Runner 2049 good. Alien: Covenant bad. ;)

If you aren't already familiar with this podcast, they do a thoughtful job of discussing the films, TV, and comics. Some of the discussion has even helped me evolve my own interpretations of some aspects of the movies.

Hi everyone :) I was wondering if anyone would be interested in chatting about things similar to Blade Runner/Philip K Dick? I've read pretty much all of his books that I get my hands on, but am sadly hitting the point where it's an event when I find one I've not already read. :)

Do any other Science Fiction writers or films scratch the same itch? :)

To throw one of his own into the discussion: We Can Build You is fantastic - much slower, but explores androids, and their impact on the human characters. :)

Not a new question for the internet, but curious what thoughts are out there. Myself, I didn't see the theatrical first. I saw the director's cut on home video and eventually bought the final cut. Having seen all, I find myself preferring the final cut. Thoughts?

Hello there and welcome! This community has been migrated from lemmy.ml.

Here are some framed photo pieces I made from photography shot at the Bradberry building in Los Angeles. The quote in the center is from the character Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer) at the end of the film.
