How do flairs work?

So far Lemmy doesn't have conventional flairs like reddit had, but in place of those, all posts must have their intended flair attached via bracketed text before your title. The current brackets are:

Comments & Submissions

While the original rules still stand, due to the incidents here, we have zero tolerance for transphobia, homophobia, racism, and sexism.

  1. Do not use slurs of any kind. Depending on the severity, punishment may result in a ban with no warning.

  2. Do not spam.

  3. No Lazy AI Content.

  4. Do not be toxic.

  5. No spoilers. (Movies, television, books, etc). Anything released in the past 2 months or to be released within 2 weeks counts. Using spoiler tags is allowed for any and all spoilers.

  6. Advertising must not be more than 20% of your post history. You get one warning.

  7. Memes are now only allowed on Mondays.

F.A.Q

Here's a quick FAQ, which will be slowly expanded on in the future.

Q. How can I join the Discord server?

A. Click Here!

Q. Where can I reach the Community Mods?

A. If you have questions and concerns, preferably reach us via the discord server above. The Lemmy messaging system is currently not the best right now, but I am sure it'll get better with time.

Q. Where can I get Bionicle pieces and/or sets?

A. Bricklink, Brickowl, Ebay, and Craigslist(or local equivalent) are good places to look.

Q. Where can I find a specific piece?

A. All Lego pieces(save a few, insubstantial number) have ID numbers on them. Look for that number, and search for it on sites like Bricklink.

Q. How much is my set/mask worth?

A. Check with Bricklink, or join our discord. We have some collectors who could probably help you with this if you need.

Q. What are some digital designers I can use to build and design MOCs?

A. Lego's LDD, or Lego Digital Designer is a common and popular one, but does not have much variety of Bionicle parts. Stud.io, found on Bricklink, is a newer option that would be better recommended to Bionicle fans.

L. LDD L. Stud.io

For $220+ purchases you can get both the Tahu and Takua GWP and the Blacktron GWP. It’s a bit pricey but at least people can buy stuff like technic or Star Wars now instead of the limited themes like they had last time

So over on Reddit there's /r/bioniclelego and /r/bioniclememes to split the content between lower quality meme posts and higher quality content like MOCs etc

Should we mimic this here as well, creating /c/bioniclememes in the process or just post memes into this community here?

To breathe a little life into this new community, I'll start with a repost of a fantastic creation: the revamp of the classic 2002 BIONICLE "Boxor" 8556 set, by talented creator Alex Mertens. You can look into his other posts, this guy is awesome.
