I'm not quite certain this will work because I've not used pop os in a while. Back then they used gnome so the toggle your talking about should be available via gsettings (cli). If you find the key you should be able to run a script every boot/login to disable it.

Not the easiest solution but maybe a solution.

I can understand your feeling. I first bought Witcher 3 in 2016 or so and didn't touch it for years. Picked it up 2 years ago again and loved it. It's not he best combat, not the best complex game but the story really hooked me. Mind you, it does take a couple of hours for it to get going. And the secondary quests (side quests) are some of the most memorable I've ever played.

I don't remember the name but it's a depiction of a cave explorer that got stuck like that and died. While there was help at the place to try and get him out they couldn't. If I remember correctly he's still stuck in that same place.

Holy hell. Sure, I bought my phone (a OnePlus 9) out of pocket but I pay about 20 USD for unlimited calls and SMS with 5Gb of data per month (I can also save unused data from each month to the other up to 15Gb). This is in Sweden for reference.

Yup, probably something that is the same in many languages though I can only speculate. It's also the same in swedish any way.

Yhea, you really learn to dig through the man pages and, if you didn't already know, learn that they are quite helpful.

I myself am a maintainer/main developer of a project and the people that help out in the group chat are a god sent. Takes a lot of pressure out of my day.

About the same. Been using my arch install with KDE for about 5 years with no major problems at all. I use systemd boot so I've not had the issue with grub as other people seem to have had.

Yhea the witcher was a disaster even though they had a really good cast imo. There's basically only one company I "trust" to make a good adaptation and that's HBO.

I bought a Garmin after having a Fitbit for many years. I must say i really prefer the Garmin, even though they are more expensive than the Fitbit. Though, if you want all functions on the Fitbit you need premium and if you include two years of that they are about the same price.

I totally agree. I've had my 2011 2.0 TDIe Audi A6 now for about 7 years. Never had major problems, though I specifically selected a diesel engine as the TFSI engines are crap. I also do pretty much all of.my own work so only pay for parts when something happens, which of course helps keep costs down.

If anyone is repairing or diagnosing your own vehicle in the WV group, make sure you get the VCDS software as it helps a ton! I got some cheap clone via eBay but it's worked just fine for many years for me.

I think it depends on what you mean by stunning. I personally prefer

  • The Martian
  • Interstellar
  • The original LOTR trilogy in 4K HDR, though the fellowship sure has the most beautiful scenes.
